The Chopper is a versatile shape its a cruisey ride when the conditions suit, but give it a big open face and itll fire on all cylinders.

Weve updated the shape with more forward volume for a more flowy, forward trim style of surfing from the front half of the board but with slightly more flip in the tail rocker for tighter turns and aggressive surfing. This is a very user friendly board that suits small wave days and pumping days as well.

With a 2+1 fin set-up it can be ridden as anything from glidey single fin, 2+1 or thruster.

ACT

Usually you can have strength, lightweight or a good price. In ACT, you can have all three.

The Rusty ACT shortboard lay-up spec has a 3 layers of fiber on the deck and 6oz rail band in the tail. On the bottom a 6oz + 4oz lay-up, plus UD carbon strips top and bottom. But they weigh around the same as a light glassed PU board.

Most importantly; they respond better. The feel of these boards is like no other surfboard – they are incredibly responsive. The unhindered flex and zero dead weight means all of the energy that you put through your feet is delivered into the turn with none of the deadening effect from the resin.
