The ‘High Line’ You Can Ride and Conquer

There is a reason why we are saying that you will be able to ride and conquer the line-up even when the waves are not ideal: The High Line.

This new design from Pyzel is a high performance shortboard born with the feedback gathered from international riders such as Jack Freestone, John Nathan Florence, Tyler Wright, Nic Von Rupp, and tested by John John Florence, Jack Freestone and Tyler Wright.

This is a proven design for average-to-good waves. Based off the versatile 74 model, it keeps the rocker but the foil and outline have been updated looking forward to fit Pyzels idea of a modern HPSB.

Adding Float and Carry in Smaller Waves

THE ANATOMY OF THE BOARD

| Bottom | Medium/high nose rocker and medium tail rocker for extra drive in sluggish conditions. All the way through the bottom youll find a single concave, blended with a double concave just before the front fins and continuing out the tail.

The contours and curves generate a formula that lifts for quick acceleration whileholding speed and drive. Rolling from rail to rail will be easily done.

| Outline Widepoint | Just back from center. A pronounced hip adds drive while creating a pivot point for snappy, vertical surfing.

| Deck | Similar to the 74, its slightly flatter and has more volume pushed out towards the rail.

| Rails | Refined, curvy, not boxy in order to provide a smooth and easy push through turns.

| Rocker | Slightly flatter, nose and tail. Because of that, in weaker or flatter waves, youll feel it keeps more speed while still allowing an easy vertical surfing.

CHOOSING A HIGH LINE

The Pyzel High Line stock sizing adds float and carry in smaller waves sine it has a bit more width and volume per size (most are about to 1 liter more volume)

JON PYZEL. THE MAN BEHIND THE BRAND

To talk about Jon Pyzel is to talk about surfboard design. The man behind Pyzel surfboards, grew up in Santa Barbara, California, and the first time he had a surfboard under his feet was while in junior high. This was it: he was hooked. He used to ride boards shaped by the legend Matt More and he was the one that put Jon working on surfboards.

He started working repairing dings. However, under Matt and his teams supervision, Jon had the opportunity to learn up close all there was to know about crafting surfboards: hot coating, laminating Back at Oahus North Shore, he worked with the local legend Jeff Bushman as his back-shaper.

He even worked as a ghost shaper before deciding to step out with his own name. We may day that the fine experience he got under the best shapers and glassers in the industry ensures, undoubtedly, Pyzel Surfboards.

These are some of the surfers that gave the opportunity to create world-class surfboards for all surfers and wave types to Jon Pyzel, and that have compete at a very high level with Pyzel Surfboards: John John Florence, Kelly Slater, Jack Freestone, Michel Bourez, Koa Rothman, Koa Smith, Matt Archbold, Billy Kemper, Stu Kennedy, Mason Ho, Ross Williams, Fred Pattachia, Sally Fitzgibons, Ryan Hipwood, Billy Kemper, Shane Beschen, Punker Pat Towersy, Timmy Reyes and many many more.
